Company Heritage
Since its inception in 1983 by Marek Sikorski, Sikorski Sausages has been a proud ambassador of traditional Polish taste. We are a second generation, family owned, company that is committed to making the very highest quality deli products available. Currently, our customers can choose from a selection of more than 100 different types of specialty meat products. Our focus is on pork; however we also produce high quality turkey, chicken, beef and veal products.
Sikorski Sausages is a provincially licensed food processor operating under the supervision of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

Twenty six years ago the company began in a 1,500 square foot production space on 41 Childers street in London Ontario. Between 1985 and 1995 Sikorski Sausages had bought and equipped the three remaining spaces in the complex. As the company grew, experienced butchers from Europe were hired on to production staff. They brought with them recipes and know how. In 1995 we underwent our first major retrofit/expansion project. With food safety and production capacity in mind the old production space was transformed into a modern 10,000 square foot meat processing plant, equipped with cutting edge German, Polish and American machinery.
The brand developed customer loyalty by differentiating itself from the competition and soon became a steady name on the tables of eastern European households throughout south-western Ontario. In 2008, Peter Sikorski, Marek’s eldest son, graduated from the University of Toronto and moved back to London to take over the management of the company. The brand continued to experience growing product demand but was constrained by limited and ageing production space, new sanitation and food safety regulations and a management team not accustomed to the increased procedural formalities.
Peter’s arrival to the company as a young native English speaker, who was comfortable in creating, implementing and supervising new food safety procedures was welcome. In the winter of 2008 management began brainstorming and drafting construction floor plans to retrofit the existing facility and add to it a 13,000 square foot addition. The goal was to update the facility with the latest in food safety systems and to create a space capable of increasing production capacity three fold. We broke ground in the spring of 2009 and completed the project before the end of 2010. At this time the 23,000+ square foot plant meets the highest level of food safety internationally and employs more than 50 people.
We work very closely with our clients, which are primarily family owned European style delicatessens, delivering fresh products via our own fleet of refrigerated trucks daily. Our sales staff have a long term experience in suggesting a product spectrum that matches store demographics. One of our strong points is setting up new deli counters and reviving struggling ones.
A major contributing factor to the success of Sikorski Sausages has been its ability to focus; to create a long term growth strategy founded on customer service and loyalty, stimulated by the uniqueness of our product.
